Inactivate Internal Interfaces

Is there a way to inactivate/disable internal interfaces? Out of the box, the H series has ge3 and ge4 interfaces. I usually want the same untagged interface across all ports. However, I am unable to inactivate the ge4 interface and I have to assign it to at lease one port so that port is stuck on a different subnet. On the USG and Flex series, I could disable the lan2 interface so that all (non-WAN) ports were assigned to the same lan1 interface.

    Hi @Matthew,

As PeterUK mentioned, please ensure the ge4 internface has removed all reference before you remove it.

You need to remove all references from ge4 to remove it then you should be able to have all ports as untagged under the same interface

I was able to inactivate the ge4 interface but it still requires at least 1 port be assigned to the interface.

Just remove Ge4 interface if all references are removed then that port will free up.
