NWA130BE - LAN port not working when in wireless mesh mode

Hi, I have a new NWA130BE AP and am using it as a wireless extension to a garden shed. It's working in wireless mesh mode and doing it's AP thing just fine.
However, when I try to use the LAN port - eg for a printer or desktop pc, I don't get any activity on the LAN port.. nothing.. no link light, no activity light.

If I connect the AP as a WIRED device using the uplink port, the LAN port works fine.

Any ideas why LAN port works when ap in wired more, but not in wireless mesh mode?

thanks in advance!

you need to put the ap in bridge mode and as well the ap which is connected to the router.

    Hi @OH_ED,

First, we would like to confirm if your network topology is as follows: Main Network (assuming it’s another AP) >> wireless >> NWA130BE connects to a printer or PC via LAN. Also, could you please confirm if your AP (NWA130BE) is currently operating in Nebula Cloud mode or standalone mode? Please kindly provide your root AP’s model name.

It is crucial to note that the root AP must support wireless bridging for the NWA130BE AP's LAN port to function correctly when the NWA130BE is acting as a WiFi repeater. To check if your device supports this, please log into NCC and refer to Help Center > Device function table.

If the root AP also supports wireless bridging, then when configuring the NWA130BE as a repeater via its GUI or NCC, you will need to enable wireless bridging for its LAN port to transmit data.

    Hi, Thanks for responses 👍
    yes root AP is wired:

    Router —> NWA55AXA - - - - >NWA130BE —→ Printer

Both AP's are in Nebula cloud managed mode.
    - Mesh enabled
    - Wireless Bridge Disabled
    - LAN port enabled in Nebula settings for the AP

The Wireless Mesh part is working - remote AP works.
However, when plugging in to the LAN port on the remote AP, there is no activity - no link light, not activity light.

LAN port1 works fine when using wired link between AP's so I know cable and end devices are all ok
