Want to get the facts about 2 Factor Auth using email.

Does it work?

If anyone has this working, or a link to the steps, would be interested.

    it works but you can't Auth on the same device because traffic down the VPN will be blocked so if you have a phone to check Email and Auth by that

    Hi @mm_bret,

    You will need to setup Mail server via Menu > Configuration > System > Notification > Mail server first.

    Please reference to our Handbook P757. You can use gmail for SMTP mail server. Example screenshot

    Then create the VPN user account with email address, and enable VPN authentication. Please reference to our Handbook P599 How to Use Two Factor with Google Authenticator for VPN
    Access.     (This topic has similar configuration steps for you to reference.)

    From my test, I can see the authentication email sent successfully.
