I want to use my Zyxel XMG1915-10E in standalone mode without nebula.

How can I cancel my account and deregistrate my switch to use it in standalone mode?

    Hi @vewi,

    To use your XMG1915-10E in standalone mode without Nebula cloud management, you will need to remove the device from your Nebula organization. This action resets the switch to factory default settings and allows you to manage it locally via its web GUI.

    Here are the steps to remove your switch from Nebula:

    1. Log in to your Nebula Cloud account at https://nebula.zyxel.com.
    2. Navigate to Organization-wide > License & inventory > Devices.
    3. Select the checkbox next to your XMG1915-10E switch.
    4. Click the "Action" button and choose "Remove from organization".
    5. Confirm your selection by clicking "Yes" or "OK".

    After removing, the switch will operate in standalone mode. To access its local management interface:

    • Ensure your computer is connected to the same network segment as the switch.
    • Use the ZON Utility to find the switch's IP address.
    • Open a web browser and enter the switch's IP address.
    • Log in with the default credentials: Username admin and Password 1234.

    To prevent the switch from automatically reconnecting to Nebula, disable "Nebula Control Center Discovery" from the switch's local web interface by navigating to SYSTEM > Cloud Management > Nebula Control Center Discovery and toggling the option to "OFF".

    Regarding canceling your Nebula account, your Zyxel account is used across all Zyxel applications, including Nebula Control Center.
