XMG1915-10E catch 22

Is there really no way from within the Web interface of a standalone XMG1915-10E (latest official FW V4.80(ACGO.3) | 11/26/2024) to change it from using a static IP to using a management network setup governed by DHCPV4?

When I change the IPV4 static interface from static to DHCP a new interface with same VID 1 and both gateway and mask 0.0.0.0 (index 1, old static interface now has index 2) shows up.

When I then try to delete the old static interface the router refuses it with the comment: first unset gateway (apparently because it is in use by the static interface).

And any attempt to erase the gateway or set it to 0.0.0.0 results in a: invalid IP message…

So catch 22: to delete the static interface I have to unset the gateway and to unset the gateway I first have to delete the static interface using it…

I eventually solved the problem via ZON, but still: there really should be a way to make the switch from static to DHCPV4 completely from within the Web interface…
