Can the 10Gb/SPF+ Ports Auto-Negotiate lower link speeds?

I am looking at getting the XGS1250-12 and three XMG-108's and my hope would be to use the 10Gb ports for up/downlinks. How IF my wiring distance is an issue will the port auto-negotiate down to 2.5Gb? or 1Gb?

    Hi @checkyourmirrors

    If you connect these switches via SFP port, the wire distance should check the transceiver's limitation. If the distance over the max distance, the link will be down.
