USG FLEX H: Multiple DNS servers for Domain Zone Forwarder
Freshman Member
Hi,
I have configured Domain Zone Forwarder for internal domain. Is there a way to add more then one DNS server to have redundancy. Is there a syntax to add more then onw server for same forwarded domain?

Hi @szn,
Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears the configuration page is from a non-H (ZLD) firewall, not a USG FLEX H series (uOS) device.
However, we can confirm that both H-series and non-H firewalls support adding multiple entries for the same Domain Zone with different DNS servers.
You can create multiple Domain Zone Forwarder entries using the same domain name but pointing to different DNS servers. The device will forward queries to the first DNS server listed, and if it is unreachable, it will try the next server in the list, ensuring redundancy.
