Hi. I am new to the community, I have bought a USG Flex200HP, an have used nebula to manage the flex. So far so good. But if I , after reset, will use it offline in a closed network, and I don't have Internet connection, what then? as I see it I cannot do so. It is the latest firmware.

Thank you for answer Tommy

With the FLEX H models the way in which standalone and nebula should work is you can use it offline then when you connect to the internet at anytime the config is updated to nebula from what I understand.

    Hi @tummelumsen,

    Welcome to the Zyxel Community!

First of all, please allow us to clarify how the USG FLEX H series behaves under different conditions.

If the device has been onboarded and registered to Nebula (NCC) before, then after a reset:

    • Without an Internet connection, when you log in to the device GUI, you will be prompted to choose whether to manage the device via Nebula or Web Configurator, and you will go through the setup wizard. You can still access and configure the device locally.
    • With an Internet connection, the device will automatically reconnect to Nebula. In this case, when logging in to the device GUI, you’ll need to use the Site-wide administrator password (Site-wide > Configure > Site settings). After clicking OK on the Applying Cloud Configuration message, you’ll be redirected to the Dashboard.

For the USG FLEX H series, the design is a cloud–local integrated (hybrid) model. When the device is registered to Nebula and has Internet access, configuration changes made in the local GUI will sync to Nebula, and changes made in Nebula will also be pushed to the local GUI. When the device is offline (no Internet access), it will continue to operate with the last applied configuration.

Please note that when the device is offline, it cannot be managed via Nebula. In this case, all management and configuration must be performed through the local GUI to take effect.

If this does not match your expected behavior, or if you are encountering a specific issue, please feel free to share more details so we can further clarify or assist accordingly.
