    Hi @saltet,

Please allow me to clarify: DCS is a feature where the AP detects interference, finds the clearest channel, and switches to it. The process works like this:

    • The AP stops sending Beacons and management frames on the original channel, causing clients to temporarily lose the signal.
    • The AP starts Beacons on the new channel, and clients must rescan and reconnect.

This means any channel change will cause a brief disconnection and reconnection for clients—it's expected behavior, not a bug or malfunction. Clients don't "stay connected seamlessly" during a channel switch.

Regarding DCS Client Aware (which I mentioned in the previous comment): This feature prevents channel changes if clients are actively connected, minimizing disruptions. However, in your setup with Smart Mesh and 24/7 client connections, it will have no effect. Therefore, we suggest disabling the DCS option as discussed earlier.

    Thanks for your understanding!

I have disabled DCS and and all de devices keep connected - for the last couple of days.

The main question is why som of the devices didn’t reconnect after DCS.

I now keep it as it is - without DCS.

    Hi @saltet,

    Please allow me to clarify:

Devices disconnecting during DCS channel changes but not auto-reconnecting to APs is client-side behavior. From the logs, your heat pumps disconnected around 3AM due to the config change, then successfully reconnected (to this AP or others) and operated normally.
