I am currently running v5.39(ABAR0). Will I be able to directly update to the current v5.42ABAR1C0?

    Thanks and do not doubt your knowledge but I would like to alsdo hear from Zyxel Support as well..

    Would someone from Zyxel Support verify if there is any known issues in doing so specifically?

    Hi @rxtopc,

    Regarding your request, I assume your device is a USG FLEX 50W (USG20W-VPN). You can directly upgrade from v5.39(ABAR.0) to v5.42(ABAR.1) without issues.

    As PeterUK mentioned, we also recommend backing up your configuration before upgrading to prevent data loss. If the upgrade fails and the device won't boot normally, please refer to this answer to recover the device, then let us know the issue.
