Router and chromecast issue
Freshman Member
Hi!
I have an NBG6602 zyxel router that have worked great for a few years. Now it started acting up with my chromecast. I can configure my chromescast and connect it to the wifi using my phone, but my phone then can't find the chromecast. My phone says that it's either not connected to the same wifi (but they are) or that Client Isolation is enabled.
I have reset my chromecast multiple times. I have also reset the router. I have disabled and enabled the Intra-BSS Traffic Blocking, which to my understanding is the Client Isolation.
I have read that my router is an end of life product, do I need to get a new router to fix the issue?

Hi~
I suggest that you can separate the router's Wi-Fi into 2.4G and 5G bands, and then check if the phone can successfully connect to the Chromecast while staying on the 2.4G network.0
