    Hello,

I have the same problem with a USG40W.

I see on the FTP two firmwares that look like the one you're talking about for the USG20VPN, here:

    • ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/USG40W/firmware/433AALB0ITS-WK12-r87753.zip
    • ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/USG40W/firmware/433AALB0ITS-WK19-r88384.zip

can I apply either to solve the problem, and wich one ?

(exactly the same problem: AP Disconnect. MAC:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx,Name:Local-AP,Reason:Idle in RUN State,Model:USG40W)

    i'm applying ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/USG40W/firmware/433AALB0ITS-WK19-r88384.zip

    i'll post result.

i m very perplexe that french support team know this problem for me since at least 4 years .... and the only answer was : reboot device, it's not intended to run 24/7 .....

Is this issue resolved with firmware 4.35? Can I upgrade without being concerned to fall into the samie issue again?

    Hi @Tattoofreak,

The fix for Built-in access point (local AP) and internal AP disconnect issues are merged to 4.35.
