GBIC compatibility with XGS series switches
Does anyone have experience with which switch brand compatibility works best with Zyxel other than the Zyxel gbics themselves? I'm not opposed to buying Zyxel gbics themselves, but getting them in a quick manner from local distributor is another matter. I also read that Zyxel doesn't have a SFP+ 10g copper module.
I've been using the FS brand HP compatible 10g fiber modules without issue. But our FS Cisco compatible 10g copper modules only work after setting the port to 1g and then back to 10g, and that's after every switch restart.

Hi @Phil_G ,
Here is a post that forum users discussed about SFP+/RJ45 transceiver for your reference.

The post talks about different switch model, but you may try it.
NOTICE: we don't guarantee third party SFP 100% works on our Zyxel switches.
Hope it helps you.Adam0
