Hello,
MY VMG1312-B10D with firmware V5.13(AAXA.10)C0 has been working well.
I needed to turn it off for 7 days. When I came to turn it back, it would not connect the PPPoE connection over VDSL, as it reported a CHAP authentication failure. See syslog extracts below.
- VDSL came up fully though.

I had a backup of the configuration. So I restored that into the router and the WAN PPPoE connection came up fully.
I am back up and working, but is this a known issue?
Kind regards,
Tony

Not very sure what happened while you turn off the router.
If it happened again, you can backup the configuration file while the PPPoE fail.
Possibly can find something difference between the fail and work configuration files.1 -
Hello @SEJ
Thanks for your reply. I don't know what happened either.
- I do not know if the configuration is in battery-backed NVRAM and that I have a dying battery or not.
I had a configuration backup from December 2020, which I restored, and everything started working again.
Yes. I could have looked for differences in the failed config and working config, but I just wanted it up and working.
Kind regards,
Tony0
