in Home Router
My router is not accepting the admin login default password. It is in the bottom of the device, and as you all can imagine it is '1234'. I get into myrouter via 'myrouter' and give numbers 1234 to the only (!) field there is and still the device is not accepting the password. 'password is incorrect please try again'. I am starting to suspect my sanity. What could be the reason? I did reset also once, by pressing the button. No effect.

Hello @Tuomo
You could try the 30-30-30 factory reset process that is at https://www.router-reset.com/default-password-ip-list/ZyXEL#forgot-ZyXEL-password which will reset your device back to factory defaults.
Kind regards,

It’s definitely frustrating when the default credentials don’t work—especially after a reset. A few things to try: make sure you're entering the username as well (solar smash often it's “admin” or blank), check for any extra spaces or auto-fill issues, and try accessing the router from a different browser or device. If it still fails, the firmware may have been updated by your ISP or manufacturer, changing the default login.
