Hello Community,

I had the Rescue Stick for the NAS540.
Just need the right one for the NAS542

Can someone help me?

    Rescue stick? Do you mean a 'firmware flash' stick? The NAS540 stick is fine, you only need to exchange the ras.bin file by a (renamed) firmware .bin file, and put it's md5sum in the right file (md5sum.txt?).

    Yeah I did this with the right firmware and checksum. But it didn’t work. It was the bootloop failure and now it won’t start anymore, the LED is on but no reaction and it doesn’t react by reset button…

    "The" bootloop failure? I am aware of two different bootloop failures, one caused by a dis-behaving timed shutdown, but I AFAIK that is only in the older NSA boxes, and a problem when you installed OMV on a NAS5xx. Your problem doesn't sound as any of these, as in both cases there is some activity. (flickering leds, ...)

    Well, that is possible, of course. Do you have serial access?
