All devices on a wireless network can only ping themselves and the router - zyxel EMG1702-T10A
The rouer is zyxel EMG1702-T10A.
When i try to ping any devices in my wireless lan network, i get this output :
ping 192.168.1.104 PING 192.168.1.104 (192.168.1.104) 56(84) bytes of data. From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=4 Destination Host Unreachable From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=5 Destination Host Unreachable From 192.168.1.108 icmp_seq=6 Destination Host Unreachable
The ping only suceed when pingin itself and the router :
itself -
ping 192.168.1.108 PING 192.168.1.108 (192.168.1.108) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.108: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.029 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.108: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.042 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.108: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.065 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.108: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=0.063 ms
the router -
ping 192.168.1.1 PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=2.92 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=3.17 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=1.05 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=1.38 ms
Tested with 3 devices, 2 linux and 1 android, and got the same output. ALl of them connected to the router via wifi. All host were up.
Output of some troubleshooting :
i tried
sudo ip route add 192.168.1.104/32 via 192.168.1.1 dev wlan0
and
sudo ip route add 192.168.1.104 via 192.168.1.1 dev wlan0

I was suggested to turning on the icmp on the acl settings of the router, and indeed it was off, but turning it on didnt changed anything. I dont know if i did i right tho. I typed the source ip address and the mask adress respectvly as : 0.0.0.0 , 0.0.0.0 . And on a second try : 192.168.1.0 , 255.255.255.0 .
I as also suggested o see if the router has an option to allows the devices to talk only with the internet, but never with eachother. But i didnt know what to look for.
