migrate configured Switch and APs to another account

Hi,

we recently had a contractor setup a local network in one of our sites. Since this is our first Zyxel, Nebula enabled, site the contractor prepared everything for us and it is working right now.

As part of the documentation I only got the serial numbers, MAC-adresses and a "Cloud Password" of the GS1920 and NWA110AX APs. What is the best way to migrate the whole configuration, not just the devices, to our newly created Nebula account?

    Hi Sir,

There're several ways to achieve your goals, which depends on the "Structure" and "License Status" of the contractor's Nebula Control Center, listed below:

    1. If the contractor create a dedicate "Nebula org/site" for your case, They can simply use "organization owner transfer" to transfer to ownership of both devices and site settings from their account to your account.

    > First, contractor adds your account as the administrator of their organization
    > Second, contractor transfers the owner of the organization to your account
    > (Optional) After that, you can remove the contractor's account from your Nebula Organization, so they can't check your settings anymore.

    2. If there are multiple Nebula sites (which is for other customers) under contractor's organization, and the contractor has our MSP Pack License, they can use the "Cross-Org site clone with device movement" Function."

    > First, contractor creates a new Nebula organization
    > Second, contractor use the function to clone the setting and move the devices to the new organization.
    > Third, follow the above mentioned option.1 to transfer the organization owner to your account.

    3.  If there are multiple Nebula sites (which is for other customers) under contractor's organization, and the contractor doesn't have our MSP Pack License, then they have to:

    > First, contractor creates a new Nebula organization, with a new site under it.
    > Second, contractor has to manually set up this new site to be the same as the original site.
    > Third, contractor transfers the device from original organization to the new created organization and site.
(They can do this operation in "Organization-wide > Configure > License & inventory")
    > Forth, follow the above mentioned option.1 to transfer the organization owner to your account.

    Best Regards,
    Richard
