NR7101 vs iphone 5g speed

same simcard

ookla speedtest

iphone: 750mbit download
nr7101: 210mbit download

because of better antenna, i would expect NR7101 to have better results then iphone.
whats going wrong here - any ideas ?

Is it NSA or SA?

Set your phone to 5G ON not 5G auto and check your speed at ookla again.



What is your settings?

i have tried different settings , result is allways more or less the same.
currently I have "NR5G-NSA / PS only"
( pure NR5G-SA does not connect at all )

i also tried PCI Lock on all available 4G and 5G bands.

also tried different APNs

the NR7101 is outside, perfectly adjusted to the celltower.

iphone is reaching 600mbit even inside ( open window without sight to celltower / on that position where photo is made )
i am not shure how to check iphone connection details.
anyway NR7101 should outperform it.

Try simcard from modem in your phone and check speed.

yes , this is the closest tower, with 3500Mhz and not overbooked. also its antenna directon fits quite good. even fresnel zone is clear. this is why iphone gets 700-800mbit 15ms constandly.

I will try different sim cards, and swap between both devices.
(got a brand new sim last week)

Remove all cellular lock and change settings like pic, try both 5G NR and 5G NSA.

( not even after reset/reboot )
