I had a drive fail on  raid 5 configuration. I replaced the failed drive and started the repair process. After the resync progress it is now at "repairing" for 15 hours.
Looking at dmesg and mdadm --detail; it looks like it finished.
Is there any other step to complete the process or did it finish and the UI is bugged out?

Have a look with top if e2fsck (filesystem check) is running. If not, and nothing important is active, just assume the webinterface is buggy.

I think the gui reads the content of /proc/mdstat to show the status.

/proc/mdstat doesn't show a recovery status, and the UI is still showing repairing...
Is anything else I should check?
