[ATP/FLEX] How to set up Web AUTH with AD authentication on Nebula Firewall






Nebula Firewall provides the option to let users authenticate into the internet with AD authentication, offering an integrated captive portal.

In this scenario, the AD server is external
Configure Steps
Go to Configure > Firewall > Firewall settings and create an AD server profile.

Go to Configure > Firewall > Authentication method, choose the LAN interface at which the clients should authenticate, and select the AD profile as Sign-on-with

(Optional) Enable "Walled Garden" and add domain names or IP addresses that the clients can access without authenticating through Captive Portal
Choose the Access Attribute to allow the user to have simultaneous logins or only a device.

Go to Configure > Firewall > Captive Portal. You can upload a logo and customize the captive portal page.

Test Result
Connect a laptop to the LAN1 interface and open the browser. You will be redirected to the captive portal login page.

A “success” message will be displayed after successful authentication.
