[NEBULA] Switches connected in a loop

Can someone tell me how many switches can be looped together? Is there the same 7 switches limitation still valid?

Hi Levente,

Do you mean how many switches with RSTP enabled can be added into a single ring topology?

The NSW uses the default RSTP configurations and there is no way to configure this in NCC.
      Max Age: 20
      Hello Time: 2
      Forward Delay: 15

Because of this, I recommend limiting the diameter to seven switches. So that would mean 8 switches in a single ring.
