NR5103e rebooting every few hours

Hi,

I have had a NR5103e for a couple of weeks now and it has never managed more than 36 hours of uptime before rebooting. On average it reboots about every 12 hours. When it does so the network is only down for about 5 mins but it is frustrating nonetheless.

The firmware on the router is V1.00(ACBJ.0)b10.

I have turned logging on and there are some telling errors just before each reboot, which I do not see in log files produced when no reboot has occurred. It looks like unhandled errors on the low-level communication interfaces.

Here is a copy of the kernel errors in all.log file, either side of the reboot.

    Hi tfh,

Please contact Three's support team for this case; they should receive direct feedback from end users, and if there's anything that Zyxel needs to do, Three will contact Zyxel.

    Regards,

    Bob

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for getting back to me. Since posting I have been in contact with Three and they have told me that this is a known issue with this model of router and are working with Zyxel to resolve.

Hopefully a resolution will come soon.

    Thanks
    Tom
