Why are the NWA55AXE devices so impossible to use and now bricked

Spent 2 days trying to get a simple wireless bridge set up. Simplest of the simplest to do and now I have a bricked unit.
Will be sending them back or to the bin. What a waste of my time.
As for the Nebula, could it be more confusing.

Hello @ms1Thanks for your response, we have some suggestions for you to build the wireless bridge well.First, make sure NWA55AXE is online, check the POE power adapter light is blue, and please use our ZON tools to scan the NWA55AXE. If it works well, it will show on the listIf your NWX55AXE are in standalone mode, please refer to this article to build the WDS.Noted: confirm the WDS SSID and Pre-Shared Key on all APs are the same.
