Upgraded the firmware on PLA4231 and homeplug not working

I have PLA4231 and PLA4201 v2. They were working just fine until I upgraded the firmware to the latest one on the PLA4231. Now the HomePlug LED is off on both devices which means that they are not detecting each other.

Where can I find the original firmware of the PLA4231?
Or it there another solution to this?

What firmware version are you running please?

There is some Zyxel PLA4231 firmware available at their Swiss distributor at https://www.studerus.ch/de/support/downloadcenter/?typefilter=software&kwfilter=PLA42&utm_source=NL1604_CH-F_tech&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=NL1604_CH-F_tech_R_IMG-B_3-412_ZyXEL_PLA_Series_Software

Enter PLA4231 in the search box on the upper left hand corner.

Now it has V1.00(AAGV.7)C0 (the latest) but I have also tried V1.00(AAGV.2)C0, V1.00(AAGV.4)C0, V1.00(AAGV.5)C0, and V1.00(AAGV.6)C0. None of them solved the problem. I believe the one it had originally was V1.00(AAGV.0)C0 which I am not able to find anywhere.

Is there some newer firmware for PLA4201 v2?
Is it possible that I need to upgrade that one as well so they can communicate with each other again?

I don't know if there is newer software as I have not been able to find it.
