Changing firmware from ISP to Zyxel

Dear community, I hired the services of a ISP here in Switzerland. Then I stopped their services and they told me I can keep the router. Its a AX7501-B0. The problem is that it has a custom restricted ISP firmware. How can I change the firmware and how do I do this?

I don't work for Zyxel.
You might have to use JTAG to be able to do what you wish to do, following methods like those at https://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showthread.php?t=2941571 and https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/zyxel/zyxel_vmg8825-t50 .
You will need to open the case in order to do this approach, and I have not found anyone who has do it on this model of Zyxel device.
