Hi,

I'm trying to install MetaRepository on my Zyxel Nas540. I have created a web_prefix file in the admin/zy-pkgs/ folder

Tried both: http://metarepository.tk/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/ and http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/

Changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8, rebooted my NAS a couple of times. But everytime i try to update my apps in the webinterface I get "Download List Fail".

Unfortunately it's broken, at the moment. The hoster of metarepository.tk went out of business, and @shv is busy to set it up at another hoster. But it's not yet ready, and at the moment the http request is redirected to a https request, but fails to provide the right certificate.

On a '540 you could try http://metarepo.tk/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/ , in which case the certificate is right. It is known not to work for an NSA325, due to unsupported encryption, but a NAS540 might support newer algorithms.

I have tried now but it did not work. Still get download list failed. :( Anything else I could try? Or should I just wait?

I just tried, and metarepository.tk doesn't have a redirect to https anymore.

    Hi Mijself,

I'm trying to load apps onto my 540. I've added the URL for your most recent repo ( http://metarepo.tk/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/ ), including the 5.21 folder, created a web_prefix file with that URL string, added the web_prefix file to the zy-pkgs folder in the admin folder.

Went to the apps screen, refreshed Retrieve and still have the error Download Files failed.

Trying to get the NFS app installed.

    thoughts?
including the 5.21 folder
What do you mean? The web_prefix file should not contain NAS version/fw version, as the firmware package manager adds that to the url in web_prefix.
