NR7101 - Cannot connect to the internet
Freshman Member
Hey,
I've a brand new NR7101 with the latest V1.00(ABUV.7)C0 firmware. The device itself can connect to the internet (5G) and I can successfully ping, do nslookups and speed tests from within the admin console. So far, so good.
BUT none of the devices connected to the NR7101 can connect to the internet. I am using the built-in WiFi (for now) and that connection works great. All devices I tried can ping the LAN (192.168.1.1) as well as the WAN interface. Also the devices can ping each other on the LAN. But there is no connectivity to the internet. I've tested with disabling the firewall, IP Passthrough mode, and resetting the device to factory defaults. Nothing helps and I am running out of ideas.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Thomas

Turns out that the built-in WiFi is for configuration purposes only and does not provide access to the internet. A simple note on the quick start guide would have saved me 2 hours of useless troubleshooting…

Just a thought: are you using your NR7101 as a router or in pass-through/bridge mode?
