Setting up a security profile for your SSID is crucial for protecting your network from unauthorized access. It helps to encrypt the traffic between the AP and the devices connected to it, preventing potential attackers from intercepting sensitive information.

You can set up a security profile in the Security Profile field when configuring the SSID profile in the Zyxel AP's configuration interface.

The below example shows a security profile named "Security_Profile1" and its parameters:

  • Security Mode: WPA3
  • Authentication: Personal
  • Pre-Shared Key: your desired password
