Apple IOS Devices aren't shown the captive portal

As the Title states.

In the Firewall (Zyxel USG FLEX 200) the captive portal is activated and for the respective Interface, for the SSID, GUEST Mode is enabled.
The Firewall is in Nebula Cloud Mode.

The only way to access the captive portal is to go to
http://10.0.200.1/redirect.cgi?arip=

Which is a really bad user experiance…

Are there some best practices with IOS ?
Android and Windows Clients are working flawless btw.

The behavior you're experiencing is specific to iOS devices. A common workaround for this is to try accessing a website as http://neverssl.com/ This can often trigger the captive portal redirect.

FYI, Apple devices use a feature called "Captive Network Assistant, sometimes, this feature can cause issues. you can try disabling it to check whether the issue be resolved.

We also recommend upgrading the firmware on your Zyxel USG FLEX 200 to the latest version.
