Hello dear community!

I deleted kernel 2 on my NR 7101 and now the device no longer works! The LED light only flashes red. And the PC only has a short connection and cannot identify the network during this time.

Do you perhaps know how I can get the firmware running again or is the device now scrap?

Best regards
Bergbahnfreak

Could you descrice how you did that?

    Can you login WebGUI?

  • Well, I installed OpenWRT on the device, but I wasn't satisfied with it and wanted to go back to the original firmware and somehow an error happened to me.

Unfortunately I can no longer access the WebGUI because the device can no longer be identified.

If you installed the non-official FW or SW to make the device crash. I think it is not able to recover from it. Have you tryed reset to default?

Otherwise you need to ask for RMA and pay for the maintenance fee

  • Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation.

I've tried restoring the default settings using the reset button to no avail.

RMA is not possible as I bought the device used and the first owner appears to have purchased this device from an ISP.

    Kind Regards,
