VMG1312-B10D Web interface not asking to save password

Hi

Just acquired this router and installed latest firmware also and noticed that on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome I am not offered to save the login details as I have been able with other Zyxel Routers and many more.

Do you know whether there is a way for it to show the save password prompt? I am sure is not in the router setting itself but is in the way the html code is written and I do not see the usual fields for username and password when inspecting the page, so must to be there.

Does anyone knows a way for the browser to show the prompt?

To save the password that should be check from browser, maybe you setting never save the password .

Welcome to the forum.

Can you confirm what firmware version you have in your VMG1312-B10D please?

If it is V5.13(AAXA.10)C0 as available for download at https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/4403361365778-Advanced-Downloads-for-CPE-devices then I can confirm that it does not offer the ability to save the login password.

- VMG1312-B10D has been a stalwart device for me at home for a number of years! :-)

I always enter the user name and password everytime. I haven't ever seen Chrome or Edge offer to save it for me with my VMG1312-B10D.
