Locate which exact LAN port is used by a client
Hello,
I have a network where I see a lot of devices connected.
Looking into the Site-wide > Clients area I can see all the clients, I can see which switch is connected to but I cannot see which exact port is used.
Is there a trick to get this info quickly?
Thanks in advance

Hi @GiuseppeR,
If you change to the Switches clients page, you will find there's a column showing which port the client connected to the switch. If you do not find the column, please check if the port column has been selected.

GiuseppeR if you go into Site-wide > Devices > Switches > the particular switch the client is connected to and then slide down to Ports you will see the active ports on the switch. If you mouse over those ports it will tell you who/how/etc the port is connected.
Let me know if this helps.

thanks for the trick but let me add another trick. 😎
To see the list of MAC addresses connected to a specific port the user has to click on that port to explore everything that is connected, otherwise it is not possible to look for a specific MAC address while simply hovering with the mouse above an icon.
