Configurable reboot on loss of Nebula contact
It would be great if we could set certain edge devices, like switches and AP's to reboot automatically if they are not able to contact the Gateway or Nebula. Perhaps a check to see if the Gateway is contacting Nebula first.

Hi @TAPTech,
Since AP and switch will reconnect to Nebula after disconnect, could you share why you hope the switch can automatically reboot?

Just in case there is some sort of wire, loop, strange event, etc. that might cause the switch and downstream equipment to stop functioning.

Hi @TAPTech,
Thanks for your kind sharing of the information with us.
In our experience, most of the root causes of “Nebula Disconnect event” are related to “IP/DNS Setup”, “Loop network”, and “TCP traffic for Nebula connection not stable”, these root causes can be found by checking logs and doing some changes in the environment to resolve. Automatically rebooting the device may resolve some specific event like “Management hang” or “Crash”, but in most of the cases I mentioned above will still happen, and still need someone to troubleshoot.
