Is there a way to force an Access Point to transmit a MINIMUM power level?   There is a lot of 2.4GHz in the area and we basically want the AP to over power them for the local office area.  Is this possible?  If so, how?

    Hi,

Basically, the power will always output the max power as your setting in AP > Configure > Radio setting > Maximum output power. Which means if you set it to 10 dBm it will output as 10, vise versa.

If there's many 2.4GHz in the area, maybe you can try to use 5GHz or do a site survey by some tools, like inSSIDer, to check which channel is better to use.

That is not true.  I set the max power for one AP to 24 dBm and it still only goes to 21 dBm.  I want it to push more power out at that AP because it needs to penetrate a thicker wall.

As you can see ... it is set for 25 dBM, but it is only transmitting at 20 dBM.
    So is this a bug?

    Hi,
The maximum power should be Complied with local regulations, so if your country code is only supported up to 20dBm, then the maximum power would be 20dBm even you set it over than 20. May I know what's your country code?

We are in the US.   The maximum that some of the APs goto by themselves is about 28 dBm, so we are not limited to below 25 dBm

    Hi,
The maximum output power according to your setting is restricted to 20dBm based on the US regulation on DFS channels.

    How about non-DFS channels?

    Hi,
It's based on channels, in band 1 channels, they are about 22-24dBm, and band 4 channels are about 24-28dBm. If you want to use a high Tx power output channel, you can consider to use channel 149, 157, or 161.
