My AP were taken over by Nebula - how can I access them?

Hi,

my 2 APs have been taken over by Nebula. I would prefer to administrate them on my own.
Currenlty, I cannot access them from the local network. As I registered on Nebula, I was able to register the APs, but I was never able to access them.
After unregistering them from Nebula, I still cannot access them.

How can I regain the access to the APs?

Thanks for your support.

    Hi there,

Have you attempted to reset the AP yet? If not, please follow the procedure below to restore the AP to its factory-default settings.

    Step-by-Step:

    1. Make sure the AP Power LED is on and not blinking.
    2. Press the RESET button and hold it until the Power LED begins to blink. (This usually takes about ten seconds.)
    3. Release the RESET button and wait for the Zyxel Device to restart.

You should be able to access the Zyxel Device in standalone mode using the default settings.

Note: This procedure removes the current configuration.

    Thanks Judy for your answer!

Yes, usually it would be a reasonable option. Before I lose all my settings, I would prefer to try something else. An idea?

    Kind regards,

    Mariusz

    Hi Mariusz,

Typically, when you unregister the APs from Nebula, the existing configurations are automatically replaced with the default settings. To proceed, simply reset your APs and then verify if you can access the local configuration interface of your AP.
