How to solve “Service License Refresh” button did not work on the USG Series

When you want to activate the license, but you fail to update the license status in the WebGUI, this can happened by the losing DNS setting on the device.

Before we begin to solve the problem, please make sure the device is with the latest FW, and the "Service License Refresh" is still not working.

To solve this problem, we have to set up a DNS forwarder to resolve the domain names.
You can follow the path below:
Configuration > System > DNS, And click “Add”

Then, you’ll see the pop-out window. Please enter the Domain zone:*
Tick “Public DNS Server” and enter (Google for example)

Choose the WAN interface you connect to the internet, then click OK.
