Why does the AP LED exhibit a slow white blink?

The AP LED exhibits a slow white blinking at a rate of 100ms per second when the locator LED feature is activated.
It switches off automatically after the configured amount of time (1-60 min). Default duration is 10 minutes.
The path: Maintenance > LEDs > Locator
Note: The color of the white LED may have slight differences (for example, very light purple) on different models.
