Users may ask whether the RGS100 or RGS200 switch can be safely used in environments containing explosive gases, specifically in the petrochemical industry where hydrocarbon gases are present.
The RGS Series switch does not have the necessary certification for use in environments with explosive gases.
It is advised not to use the switch in such environments due to the risk of ignition from electrical sparks or components.
