[NEBULA] VPN IPSEC with L2TP works for Android but not for Windows 10

Hi Guys, i configuerd the client to Site VPN with L2TP on my NSG50 with nebula authetication, i can connect my android phone to the NSG over VPN but not my Win10 Laptop. i enterd the preshared key and username/password but on evrey try i get an error massage. i also tried with Zyxel VPN client, but this is also not working. Is there a how to or somthing else?

Welcome to the forum

As @TomorrowOcean says L2TP IPSec on Windows 10 problems are known.

Quick solution is to execute, and reboot the pc

REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PolicyAgent /v AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule /t REG_DWORD /d 0x2 /f

But I suggest to read the following links:

I had the same problem before I saw the post

How about the connection with Zyxel VPN Client to Nebula NSG. I cant find any discripton about that how to connect the VPN Client to the Nebula NSG

I think the Zyxel VPN client doesn't work with the NSG, but maybe Chris can double check.
Anyway, setting L2TP VPN up in android/iPhone shouldn't be complicated... Easy Peasy!

In current stage NSG not support Zyxel VPN client but I think it would be more easily to use L2TP connection since it is also encryption and built-in in Windows OS.

Hi alle thanks for the support. Yesterday i deployed the the L2TP connection on site at the customer.
With Win10 QuickFix soluotion it works grate.
