    I will check that.

One more thing, I have a PC inside the network where the NAS is installed. Is possible to do send a wake on lan packet to that PC within the NSA325? Is it able to do such a thing as I am in the SSH session?

    Thank you!

Yes. Provided you have the right binary. As far as I remember Entware has a binary for that. Etherwake,

Something like 'etherwake mac:address:of:pc'. If that fails, try 'etherwake help' or 'etherwake -h' or 'etherwake —help'.

Etherwake is an Entware-ng package. So you should first have installed Entware-ng (which can be done through MetaRepository) and then use Entware's package manager opkg to install etherwake.

lol.. well, I need to confess that I am a windows user and this thing of install packages under linux/unix or other is very far from my knowledge, I can run a few commands and thats it. Sorry :) How can I install it from the repository?

Assuming you already installed Entware-ng, you should

    su
    opkg update
    opkg install etherwake

    According to this page…
    https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/perf_and_log/benchmark.openssl

Best performances for a Marvell 88F6282 in SHA256 is 8.949.140

Best performances for a Broadcom BCM2711 in SHA256 is 132.161.980

Adding a VPN server on this NAS is really suboptimal for performances and can harm a lot the file transfers.
