What does the "Disable PD"(Powered Device) option in the PoE settings of Zyxel switches do?

The "Disable PD"(Powered Device)option in the Power over Ethernet (PoE) settings will not allow the switch to try to detect PD. In other words, the switch won't send any pulse signal for detection, so the switch will not supply any power to PD.
