MPro Mesh WPA3 settings setup
I recently purchased a WX3100-T0 to extend my WIFI.
I realised that some devices are willing to roam from the extender to the router (
EX5601-T1) but will never roam back.
After some digging, I realized that the Mpro mesh setup does not copy the WPA settings correctly.
My router is set to WPA3-SAE/WPA2-PSK while the extender is set to WPA2-PSK.
Both support the same modes; the settings are just not copied correctly.
Is this a known bug, does someone know how to fix it?

Same problem here.
As of version 5.50(ABVL.1.1)C0 of the WX3100 firmware this problem is solved.0

Maybe you can try using the same WPA settings for the router and WX3100.

I have tried that, but the router automatically reconfigures the WX3100 after I set the settings manually. I have also updated the WX3100 to the latest firmware, but it had not effect on this issue. I suspect the issue is with the router pushing the wrong config. This would mean that the router requires an update, but i have yet to find a page with the firmware for this router.

I can confirm the new firmware works, thanks for letting me know.

With the old firmware this did not work as the router would override the manual settings when it reconfigures the ap automatically.
