Can't connect to v6 address through WiFi on NBG7510
Good evening all. This router is very good value and has been working well on minimally-changed default settings.
However IPv6 connections do not seem to work at all. The "Primary DNSv6 Server" and "Primary IPv6" fields says N/A. I cannot ping google.com using "-6".
Are there any steps I need to perform on my ISP router or this router? I need IPv6 for remote desktop, DDNS seems too much for this purpose.

Changing the Operation Mode from Router to AP (Access Point) makes IPv6 work. Mysterious.

Hello @Firepal
Welcome to the forum. Happy New Year.
Are you able to say what firmware version you are running on your NBG7510 please?
I am not using IPv6, but have just updated my NBG7510 to Version V1.00(ABZY.6)C0 .
Does your ISP support IPv6, or are you using IPv4 on the WAN with 6RD tunnelling or Dual Stack Lite?
The user guide at https://download.zyxel.com/NBG7510/user_guide/NBG7510_V1.00_Ed6.pdf has good explanation I think about 6RD and Dual Stack Lite.
https://www.ipv6.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/IPv6_Transition_technologies_Overview_Sept2018.pdf is also a helpful overview.
Hurricane Electric (HE) Internet Service's IPv6 Tunnel Broker might work with the 6RD functionality of the NBG7510 see https://tunnelbroker.net/ but I have not tested it.
- someone else has got the Zyxel C3510XZ router working with the HE IPv6 Tunnel Broker using 6RD functionality, see https://forums.he.net/index.php?topic=4175.0 from 2022.
Kind regards,
Tony
