Why Does the AP Show Different Output Power Values in Firmware Versions above V6.60?
Some users may have concern seeing power value decrease after AP firmware upgrade. The difference in the displayed output power values after firmware versions V6.60 due to an upgrade in the WiFi driver version. It's important to note that the actual transmit power (tx power) remains the same across both versions. This means that there is no real change in the power being transmitted by the device. It should be no impact on the transmission distance.
In previous version, the output power displayed varied according to different bandwidths, showing corresponding power values for each bandwidth. However, in version above V6.60, the output power displays the same value across different bandwidths. The power value decrease you're seeing is merely a difference in how the output power is displayed and not in the actual power output.
