To back up the configuration of your switch, follow these steps:
(this example uses the XGS1250-12 model)
- Access the Web GUI of your Zyxel switch by entering its IP address in a web browser.
- Navigate to the 'Management' section in the main menu.
- Scroll to the 'Configuration Restore/Backup' area, and click the 'Backup' button.
- Your web browser will prompt you to download and save the configuration file. Choose a secure location on your computer or network to store this file.
Note:
In case you may provide the configuration file to the Zyxel support team for troubleshooting, remember to change the login password before proceeding with the backup. Then provide the updated password along with the configuration file to the support team so we can access the web GUI.
