How do I restore the configuration to my web managed switch?

To restore a previously backed-up configuration to your switch, please ensure you have the backup file ready and follow these instructions:

(this example uses the XGS1250-12 model)

Direction path: Management section > Configuration Restore/Backup area

Then follow the below steps:

1. Click on the 'Path' button to open the file selection dialog.
2. Navigate through your files and choose the backup configuration file you wish to restore.
3. Select the file and then click on the 'Restore' button.
   

The configuration file will be uploaded from your computer to the switch.

Please note that restoring a configuration file will overwrite the current settings on the switch. It is advised to proceed with caution and ensure that the backup configuration file is the correct and intended one.
