VMG1312-T20B 4G

Hi.

We have a number of VMG1312-T20B routers where the users would like a 4g backup. Most of our users already have a Huawei E3372 dongles and when inserted they don't seem to be detected. I have found it difficult to get any information on 4g usb devices for the unit and can't even find if there is a firmware Upgrade WWAN Package but these model dongle have been about for years.

Can anyone advise as don't seem to be able to get access to any Zyxel support.

Maybe you could try contact your ISP or retailer and ask them if they have the latest firmware to check.

Can you please say what firmware is running in your VMG1312-T20B ?

According to https://webservice.zyxel.com/end-of-life Zyxel declared the VMG1312-T20B end of life in December 2023.

The last firmware for VMG1312-T20B is V5.13(ABSB.5)C0 and it can be downloded from https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/4403361365778-Zyxel-CPE-Devices-Firmware-Advanced-Downloads-Firmwares-and-other-resources and Dropbox see below snapshot.
