Armor G5 with Vodafone FTTH modem

Hello Community,

i need help to get my new armor G5 working. Ich have gigabit FTTH from Vodafone in Germany with fiber modem working (with old AVM 4040 CG).

The G5 will not accept my PPPOE Username & pw, i c&p, typed, checked several times. I dont see any options on the G5.

pls help. ty

Welcome to the forum.

Looking at the user guide available at https://download.zyxel.com/Armor_G5_(NBG7815)/user_guide/Armor%20G5%20(NBG7815)_V1.00_Ed4.pdf then it should be possible to set-up PPPoE on the Armor G5, see below also.

Are you able to say what firmware version you have please?

Hello,

i am not able to set anything on the setup page but PPPoE data. there is no skip button, no menu, nothing. Its only "no acces to internet - try again"

i tried 192.168.123.2 - no connection

reset - no changes

cant see the firmware anywhere

Maybe your device is in Router Mode, especially after a reset.

So try accessing it on 192.168.123.1
