[NEBULA] Device Roaming Between APs (threshold configuration on NCC?)
Hi There,
We have a query from customer wondering whether NWA1123AC-HD is able to handle device roaming seamlessly under cloud-managed mode.
Their experience is end user device would stick to fortinet AP 1 even when AP 2 provides better reception as end user devices moves away from AP 1. Ruckus doesn't have the same problem.
Appreciate if someone can confirm
- whether configuration is already provided on NCC (threshold for AP1 to release and threshold for AP2 to connect end user device)
- If it's not ready, whether there's a roadmap with indicative timeline
Thank you!

There is an option in client steering called smart steering. That should improve general client roaming.
But there are some devices that just refuse to connect with a closer AP no matter what settings you use.
